Step 1: Enter Information

In our demo, we will take a student, John Doe. John Doe has been facing a mental health crisis due to intense internship stress which has led to mild self-harm.

The first step is to enter our information, then begin to describe the situation. After that, click the send button in the bottom right hand corner to continue.

Sample Prompt: Hi, I'm under a lot of stress in my internship. I get yelled at all the time by my supervisor, and I've started to pull my hair out and pinch myself. I pinch myself so hard I have sores up and down my arms now, and I have a bald spot where I pull my hair out. I can't sleep and I've lost my appetite. I'm just really upset, and I can't seem to keep up in my internship and it's really important to me. I want to do data science for a living.

Step 2: Engage with Bruincare

The next step is to continue the conversation with Bruincare. Respond to questions it may prompt you to understand more about your situation and respond to possible feedback and coping mechanisms provided by Bruincare.

Sample Follow-Up 1: I have been trying to remind myself that getting this internship offer isn't the most important thing in life, but the pressure just feels like too much. I haven't been able to find any free time for myself since I've been working extra hours and just overall stressed and feeling miserable.

Step 3: Receive Consultation Preparation Notes

Moving on, we receive our consultation preparation notes. It gives us a chat summary of John's interaction with Bruincare as well as a severity score (3).

Step 4: Fill Out the Survey!

The Bruincare Research Survey is designed to give us a better understanding of students' reactions to our product. It allows us to make beneficial changes in future iterations and better understand the role of AI in the mental health space.
